Our Journey

How It All Began

Every meaningful journey begins with a simple question: "What if every person with a disability had the same opportunities as everyone else?"

Founded in February 2024

A Vision That Started With One Observation

Divyaability Foundation was founded in February 2024 by Shivakant Singh, who recognised a challenge faced by thousands of talented students and professionals across India.

Time after time, capable individuals were being held back—not because of their abilities—but because they lacked the right support at the right moment.

Some students struggled to find a trained scribe before an important examination, while many others were unable to access affordable, screen-reader-friendly digital skills training that could prepare them for higher education and employment.

That gap became the beginning of Divyaability Foundation.
